About Us: Your First Visit

At Southeast Christian Church, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable, to experience great music, real life messages, friendly people, and an encouraging atmosphere. We know that your first time at a church, brings up some questions. How do I get there...what should I wear...what's available for my kids...what happens during the service...is there anything for visitors? Here is a quick look at what you can expect.

What Should I Wear?
We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, whether it's dressed-up or casual, come in a style that makes you feel comfortable.

What Happens During the Service?
During the Worship Service, you'll enjoy upbeat music and a practical message that helps you deal with real life issues. We'll give you a message outline to help you follow along. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week. After someone shares a few inspirational thoughts, servers will pass two trays down each row, one containing small wafers and one with juice cups. Believers in Christ are invited to participate by taking and eating one of the wafers, and by drinking from one of the cups. Return the cup to the tray after drinking. If you choose not to participate, simply pass the tray on to the next person.

What's Available for My Kids?
Children are important to us! We know that as a parent you need to be sure your children are in a SAFE learning environment and a FUN place to learn.
Classes are designed to be age-specific so that the atmosphere and activities are all appropriate for exactly your child's age. To find the classroom for your child, ask any greeter, or visit the Children's Welcome Center on themain level next to the church offices.

Welcome!
